Conflicts in Mayanmar

One of the many conflicts collectively referred to as the internal conflict in Myanmar is the Kachin conflict or the Kachin War. Since 1961, Kachin rebels have been battling government troops, with only one truce being brokered between them that lasted from 1994 to 2011 for 17 years.
